Come join us at Barangaroo Reserve for a picnic style open air screening under the stars. As the sun sets across the harbour we will be entertained by Australian and Pacific music and dance. The night will include the formal presentation of The Martin Adams Award for 2019.
A fitting tribute to Barangaroo the final film of festival is Vai, directed by 8 Indigenous women across the Pacific.

Vai is a portmanteau feature film made by nine female Pacific filmmakers, filmed in seven different Pacific countries: Fiji, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Kuki Airani (Cook Islands), Samoa, Niue and Aotearoa (New Zealand). It is about the journey of Vai, played by a different Indigenous actress in each of the Pacific countries. In each of these Pacific nations ‘vai’ means water.
